During my time at YES TV, I led the visual production of a bi-monthly magazine, a flagship product associated with the renowned 100 Huntley Street. In 2017, we embarked on a significant redesign project, aiming to contemporize this decade-long publication while preserving its intrinsic brand identity. The overarching objective was to ensure that our longstanding audience would still feel a sense of familiarity, akin to being “at home,” when engaging with the refreshed magazine, all while elevating the overall design and layout.
In collaboration with my colleague, Scott Orr, I played a pivotal role in not only establishing the reimagined brand of the magazine but also took on the responsibility of updating and creating the layout for each edition. This involved a meticulous approach to design, ensuring that every element of the magazine aligned with the modern rendition of the original brand while meeting the elevated standards set for both aesthetic appeal and user experience.
